Wiccan Altars

What goes into putting together a Wiccan altar is not set in stone, and you can let your personal creativity guide you. For a more general Pagan altar, anything that moves you spiritually will do, but a Wiccan altar should have certain items on it. These are the basic tools that you will want to have displayed:

• Chalice or goblet
• Pentacle
• Athame or knife
• Wand
• Cauldron
• Candles
• Your Book of Shadows
• Statues or other items representing the God and Goddess
• Decorative items like bells, feathers, food, crystals, plants etc.

This is your sacred space, so you should treat it with respect. Keep it clean and don't let it get cluttered up with too many "non-magickal" items.
