Knowing the meanings of the Tarot cards is just the first step in learning to read Tarot. The interpretations of the cards depend on how you lay them out, or the Tarot spread you are using. Each position has it's own meaning, so the card itself is read based on both its actual symbolism as well as where it sits in the spread.
There are literally hundreds of spreads that you can work with, and I'm going to include a bunch here so you can experiment with the various ways to read the cards. To start, I have explanations of the following spreads available:
Try a few of these Tarot spreads as you learn the cards, and you'll soon see some insights unfold for you. Don't be surprised if some spreads work better for you than others, that's jut the nature of the Tarot.
