Simple Spells
Sometimes simple spells can be the best spells. They may not feel quite as magickal as a really elaborate ritual, but many witches feel they can focus more on their intentions if they are not worrying about all the details. This is particularly true for anyone just beginning to learn about witchcraft. Don't start out with long spells with 10 ingredients that take 3 weeks to complete. Start with some basic simple spells.
Melting Weight Loss SpellFew people can say they are happy with their weight, but be honest with yourself about whether you really need to lose those pounds. You can add some simple spell assistance to your weight loss with just a brown candle. Carve at the top of your candle, your current weight. At the bottom, carve in the weight you'd like to be (realistically). Every night before you go to bed, light the candle for 15 minutes. As the candle wax melts down towards your goal weight, you will start to slim down.
Bury and BanishIf there is someone in your life that you would like to not be involved with anymore, this is the spell for you. All you need is a black sheet of paper. Black construction paper is likely the easiest to find and will work fine. Write the person's name in the middle, and it doesn't matter if you can't actually read it. It just has to be there. Fold the paper up as small as you can. Take it outside and bury it in the ground. Once it's buried, say the following out loud: Into the ground
You can't be found
You're not around
I can't heard your sound Step over the place you've buried the paper, and that person will soon fade from your life.
Classic Candle Spell for LoveThis is one of those simple spells that everyone loves. It has all the classic elements of a good magick spell, and it works to bring you new love. You will need: • A pink candle
• Rose oil
• A little dried lavender or rose petals Sprinkle the petals around and set your candle-holder on top. Rub the rose oil along the candle, and light it in the holder. Repeat the words: I wish to find love
I wish it to last
I wish to find love
