Witchcraft Weekly #011
August 03, 2012

Happy Lammas Everyone! The harvest season is upon us, though I still plan on spending a few more weeks at the beach.

What's New This Week
A lot of people come to the site looking for more info on "nocturnal witchcraft", so I put up a short page explaining what it is and a few other resources where you can find out more about this dark path.

And now that this newsletter has been coming out for a few months, I thought I'd point out that our new subscribers can read the older issues on the newsletter backissues page. You can't get them re-mailed out but you can read through my weekly words of wisdom.

Weekly Spell
A quick and easy protection spell this week, called Bury and Banish. If there is someone in your life that you would like to just fade out of your life, this is the perfect spell for you. All you need is a black piece of paper. Black construction paper is likely the easiest to find and will work just fine for this spell.

Write the person's name in the middle, and it doesn't matter if you can't actually read it (the paper is black after all). It just has to be there. Fold the paper up as tiny as you can. Take it outside and bury it in the ground. Once it's buried, say the following out loud:

Into the ground
You can't be found
You're not around
I can't heard your sound

Take a step over the spot you've buried the paper, and that person will soon fade from your life.

Spell Stuff
Yep, a little bit of spell stuff again this week. When using stones in magick, the cool green power of jade can add a great deal of elemental water to your work. It has a strong Asian connection but anyone can use it. It represents good fortune, health, luck, prosperity and long life. You can also use jade with working with dragons.
